Russian processing sector gain 0.5% — PM

MINSK, October 1. /TASS/. The Russian processing sector added half of percent over eight months of this year, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at the plenary session of the Innoprom exhibition.

"Our industrial production output, despite an unprecedented external pressure and turbulence in the global economy, remains at the last-year level," the prime minister said.

"The processing sector moved up by about 0.5% during eight months. Mechanical engineering provided the greatest support to it, with its growth rates in this period amounting to 6%," Mishustin added.
