Russia supports idea of UN reform — Putin

MOSCOW, October 1. /TASS/. Russia continues backing the idea of a fair reform in the UN but this idea is impossible without an internal consensus there, President Vladimir Putin said at the plenary session of the 23rd meeting of the Valdai Discussion Club.

"Russia [supported] before and supports now the idea of the fair reform of the United Nations. However, it is impossible, this reform, without the internal consensus that is difficult to be achieved now," the head of state said.
