Russia defeat Namibia 6-0 in friendly football match in Yekaterinburg

YEKATERINBURG, October 3. /TASS/. The Russian national football squad enjoyed a 6-0 win over Namibia in their friendly football match played on Saturday evening in Yekaterinburg.
The first five goals were scored by Lechi Sadulayev in the 37th minute, Danil Prutsev (54th), Konstantin Tyukavin (65th), Maxim Glushenkov (84th), and Maxim Petrov (87th following a penalty). Namibian goalkeeper Kamaijanda Ndisiro put the ball into his own in the 90th minute.
Russia will play against Nigeria on October 6 in Nizhny Novgorod. Its matches against Iran, when Russia beat the Islamic Republic 2-0, Namibia and Nigeria will be officially registered by the world’s governing body of football, FIFA, according to the Russian Football Union (RFU).
Namibia is currently 122nd in the FIFA World Rankings, while Russia stands at 36th.
