Mitch Landrieu on why Democrats lost working-class voters

Mitch Landrieu told POLITICO’s Jonathan Martin that many working-class voters who supported Donald Trump do not identify as MAGA and feel both parties have failed to address their economic concerns.

He said those voters see Democrats as the party of “cultural liberalism” and are looking for candidates who are authentic, tough and focused on helping them build better lives.
