Datagroup data center damaged in Kiev

MOSCOW, September 25. /TASS/. A data center belonging to Ukrainian internet provider Datagroup has been damaged in Kiev.

"Our data center has been damaged," the company said on Facebook (banned in Russia as owned by Meta, designated an extremist organization in the country).

Datagroup said it is working to restore its infrastructure and had moved its services to backup sites. Ukrainian news outlet Strana reported that the company's equipment was housed in a building damaged in Kiev during the day.

Meanwhile, the city council in Lutsk, the administrative center of the Volyn Region in western Ukraine, said damage to data centers in Kiev had temporarily knocked out electronic information boards at the city's public transport stops.

The previous day, nine internet and hosting providers in Kiev – Domonet, Pautina, Cityhost, Crazy Network, Etherlink, Faust, Kievnet, MiroHost and UTELS – reported damaged equipment and service disruptions. Local media said internet access was unavailable in central Kiev.
