UN follows situation around possible Russia-Ukraine talks — spokesperson

UNITED NATIONS, October 21. /TASS/. The United Nations has been following developments related to talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and the US president’s special envoy, Steve Witkoff, and the potential resumption of trilateral Russia-US-Ukraine consultations, Deputy Spokesperson for the Secretary-General Farhan Haq said.
"For now, we are simply monitoring developments," he said in response to a TASS request for a comment.
Earlier in the day, Putin informed Trump’s envoy that Russia is ready to resume trilateral talks with the United States and Ukraine around November 10, Russian Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov told reporters.
