DONETSK, October 20. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces attacked residential areas in Donetsk, presumably using fixed-wing drones, an official from the Russian Investigative Committee told journalists.

"Fragments of what are believed to be foreign-made, fixed-wing strike unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were found at the site of the attack. All the drone fragments and debris will be collected and sent for analysis to determine the specific type and model of the explosive," said the Investigative Committee representative.

He added that the Ukrainian armed forces’ massive attack on residential areas in Donetsk damaged apartment buildings, educational and healthcare facilities, and civilian vehicles.

Earlier, Alexey Kulemzin, municipal head, reported that one civilian had been injured in the attack. Footage released by the mayor shows that the academic building of Donetsk National Technical University is among the damaged buildings.
