Ukrainian drone attack kills father of 13 children, 15-year-old daughter in Kherson Region

GENICHESK, October 7. /TASS/. A father of 13 children, along with his 15-year-old daughter were killed on Wednesday after a Ukrainian drone flew into their car in the Kherson Region, Governor Vladimir Saldo said.

"This morning a Ukrainian drone attacked a passenger car near Rykovo of the Genichesk district. The car was completely destroyed. Alexander Kolotun and his 15-year-old daughter Anna were killed. Alexander and his wife Tatyana raised 13 children. Tatyana is currently expecting her fourteenth child," he wrote on Max messenger.

Saldo said that the tragedy occurred 120 km from the line of contact. The governor recalled that in June, Russian President Vladimir Putin personally presented Tatyana with the Order of the Mother Heroine.

"The Kolotun family is well known in the Kherson Region: they opened a small bakery and supplied bread to the residents of the surrounding villages. This is a heinous war crime, a crime against humanity itself. My deepest condolences to Tatyana, the children, and all the relatives and friends of the victims. We will provide all necessary assistance to the family," he added.
