Russian presidential aide discuss logistics ties with Chinese ports

SHANGAHI, October 9. /TASS/. Russian presidential aide and Marine Board Chairman Nikolay Patrushev discussed the avenues of cooperation for higher resilience of logistics ties between ports of Russia and China with the management of the deep-water port of Yangshan in Shanghai suburbs, the press service of the Marine Board said.

"Areas of cooperation were discussed with the management of the seaport, making it possible to increase the share of direct marine and multimodal transportation between China and Russia and enhance the resilience of logistics ties between ports of the two countries," the press service said.

Yangshan is one of the most advanced ports globally in terms of the technical outfit. The Russian presidential aide is in China on the working visit from October 8 to 12.
