Russian deputy foreign minister mulls fallout of Kiev’s attack on warehouse with Red Cross

MOSCOW, October 20. /TASS/. Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Alimov has discussed with Ariane Bauer, Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the consequences of the Ukrainian attack on an ICRC warehouse in Donetsk, the Foreign Ministry said.

"During the meeting, the outcomes of Ariane Bauer’s trip to Belgorod, Lugansk, and Donetsk were discussed, including the current results of the joint efforts of the ICRC and local Red Cross structures to provide humanitarian assistance to the population," it said in a statement.

"Special attention was paid to the consequences of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attack on the ICRC warehouse in Donetsk, which took place on October 6, and the related issues concerning the protection of the Committee’s personnel and property."
