Plane flying from Dubai allegedly ordered to turn back lands in Tel Aviv — controllers

MOSCOW, September 30. /TASS/. A Flydubai plane traveling from Dubai to Israel that was reportedly instructed en route to return to its point of departure landed safely in Tel Aviv as scheduled, a source in Middle Eastern air traffic control services told TASS.

The source was referring to an aircraft that, according to media reports, was instructed while flying from the UAE to Israel to return to its departure point. "No such instructions were issued to the aircraft. It has now arrived in Tel Aviv according to schedule," the source said.

Earlier, Israel’s Channel 12 reported that a passenger plane flying from Dubai to Tel Aviv had been instructed midway through the flight to turn around and had begun returning to its departure point. No further details were provided.
