Infamous Ukrainian database Mirotvorets doxes two foreign observers at Russian elections

MOSCOW, September 21. /TASS/. Austrian publicist Flo Osrainik and Serbian politician Miljan Damjanovic, who served as observers at the Russian parliamentary elections over the past weekend, have been entered into the database of Ukraine’s Mirotvorets (or Peacekeeper) extremist website.

Osrainik was among the observers in the city of Alchevsk in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) and Damjanovic in the city of Mariupol in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).

The website claims that they infringed on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine as well as publicly supported Russia.

The infamous Mirotvorets website was launched in 2014 to identify those who allegedly threaten Ukraine’s national security and publish their personal details. Over the years, it has compiled the personal information of journalists, artists, and politicians who visited Crimea and Donbass or drew criticism from the site’s administrators for other reasons. Access to the website is blocked in Russia by court order.

Elections of the 9th State Duma took place during the three-day voting period from September 18 to 20. For the first time, residents of the Donbass and Novorossiya regions participated in the elections. Ten parties were included in the electoral lists for the federal constituency: United Russia, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF), the Liberal Democratic Party of the Russian Federation (LDPR), New People, A Just Russia – For Truth, the Party of Pensioners for Social Justice, the Communists of Russia, Rodina, the Party of Direct Democracy as well as the Greens Ecological Party.

Concurrently, elections were held for the legislative assemblies of 39 regions, as well as for the heads of constituent entities of Russia: direct elections in eight regions and elections by regional parliaments in three. In total, approximately 23,000 seats were up for election.
