Putin appoints RSPP head Shokhin as business rights ombudsman

MOSCOW, October 5. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree appointing Alexander Shokhin, head of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP), as presidential commissioner for the protection of entrepreneurs' rights, according to documents published on the official legal information portal.
A separate decree designates the "Platform for Handling Entrepreneurs' Appeals" autonomous non-profit organization (ANO), established by the Presidential Administrative Directorate, as the body responsible for supporting the business ombudsman's operations.
The government is instructed to provide the organization with premises and allocate a dedicated line in the federal budget before the New Year.
