Lavrov sees Belgrade being forced to join anti-Russian sanctions

UNITED NATIONS, September 26. /TASS/. Brussels is literally forcing Belgrade to impose anti-Russian sanctions in exchange for an illusory prospect of joining the European Union, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said, addressing the General Debate of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Saturday.
"Belgrade is literally being pushed to impose sanctions on Russia as they offer an illusory, as everybody understands already, prospect of EU accession in return," Russia’s top diplomat maintained.
