World leaders congratulate Putin on his birthday

MINSK, October 7. /TASS/. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, and President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov have congratulated their Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on his 74th birthday.

Pashinyan also wished Putin all the best.

In a telephone conversation, Putin and Lukashenko also agreed to continue discussing bilateral cooperation and the international situation on the sidelines of the CIS summit in Turkmenistan, according to BelTA news agency.

"The leaders confirmed their mutual commitment to further strengthen Kyrgyz-Russian strategic cooperation and continue a trusting dialogue at the highest level," Japarov’s press-service said.

Rahmon noted Putin’s personal contribution to expanding the strategic partnership between Tajikistan and Russia.

"The head of Tajikistan emphasized the significant contribution of esteemed Vladimir Putin to the promotion of the process of strengthening and expanding the strategic partnership between the two countries," his press-service said in a statement.

President of South Ossetia Marat Kambolov congratulated Putin and noted his personal role in strengthening Russia's sovereignty, economic independence and defense capability.

"Your work as president of the Russian Federation is an example of statesmanship and strategic thinking. Your contribution to the restoration of historical justice and the protection of the interests of compatriots abroad has been recognized by millions of citizens," his press-service said in a statement.

Having congratulated Putin on his birthday, Chairman of the ruling Alliance of Independent Social Democrats of Republika Srpska Party (entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina) Milorad Dodik expressed gratitude to the Russian president for the "sincere friendship, understanding and unwavering support he provides to Republika Srpska." According to Dodik, "the brotherly ties and friendship between the Serbian and Russian peoples will remain a reliable pillar in the face of any future challenges."

President of Abkhazia Badra Gunba called Putin one of the most influential statesmen of our time in his congratulation.

"Public service, political will, and integrity have earned Putin well-deserved respect far beyond Russia's borders. Under his leadership, the Russian Federation pursues a responsible foreign policy, consistently advocating for a just and equitable world order," he said.
