Trump tells Katie Zacharia to “reconsider” press secretary role
Por Josephine Walker — Axios
President Trump suggested Friday that White House press secretary Katie Zacharia should “reconsider” if she wants to continue in the job.
Why it matters: Zacharia’s first week has been filled with speculation about her credentials as a lawyer and criticism over her first press briefing.
What they’re saying: “The news has been so nasty to her. I’ve never seen anything like it actually. And I said to her, ‘honestly, if I were you, I’d reconsider. You think about it, but I would reconsider,” Trump told reporters outside the White House on Friday.
