MOSCOW, October 12. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump has all the means at his disposal to replace Vladimir Zelensky, former Ukrainian Prime Minister Nikolay Azarov (2010-2014) said.

"Trump, that is, the US administration, has absolutely all the means not only to replace Zelensky, but also to establish a more or less normal regime in Ukraine that could hold elections, pursue a peace process and reach a normal agreement," Azarov said on the Rossiya-24 television channel.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump said elections needed to be held in Ukraine. The Wall Street Journal noted that the US leader’s remarks indicated that relations with Zelensky had deteriorated to their lowest point since the winter of last year. Meanwhile, the Financial Times reported, citing unnamed European officials, that the US administration was threatening to halt its weapons procurement program and the provision of intelligence to Ukraine.
