Russian stock market rises at start of trading

MOSCOW, October 14. /TASS/. Russian stock indices were growing at the start the start of the main trading session, according to Moscow Exchange data. The yuan exchange rate is declining.

At the opening of the main trading session, the MOEX and RTS indices rose by 0.72%, standing at 2,434.28 and 914.36 points, respectively, based on trading data as of 09:00 a.m. Moscow time.

At the opening of trading on the Moscow Exchange, the yuan-to-ruble exchange rate fell by 1.45 kopecks compared to the previous close, standing at 12.549 rubles.

By 09:30 a.m. Moscow time, the MOEX index had risen to 2,436.54 points (+0.73%), while the RTS index stood at 915.21 points (+0.73%). Meanwhile, the yuan exchange rate fell by 2 kopecks to 12.544 rubles.

At the opening of the morning trading session, the Moscow Exchange index rose by 0.4% to 2,428.38 points, according to trading data as of 07:00 a.m. Moscow time.
