Russian parliamentary election turnout rises to 45.1% — election authority

MOSCOW, September 20. /TASS/. Voter turnout in the election to the 9th Russian State Duma (Russia’s parliament) reached 45.1% as of 7:50 a.m. Moscow time (4:50 a.m. GMT), according to the Russian Central Election Commission.

"Voter turnout in the federal district stands at 45.1%," the commission said on its website.
