MOSCOW, October 20. /TASS/. Russia and Oman that have already scaled up the bilateral trade turnover by 22 times can set new records in mutual trade, Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu said.
"The mutual trade turnover increased by 22 times to $1.5 bln as of the end of seven months of this year. This is the maximum figure over the last decade," Shoigu said at the meeting with Secretary of the Omani National Security Council Idris Al Kindi. The two countries "have all the opportunities to scale up this positive dynamics, achieve new record-high figures of mutual trade," he noted.
Moscow is going to develop cooperation with Muscat in spheres of mutual interest and perform agreements reached by the heads of states, Shoigu added.
