Russia and Saudi Arabia aim to continue cooperation within OPEC+ — Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW, October 18. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud have confirmed the importance of cooperation between the two countries within OPEC+, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"During the conversation, the ministers discussed the priority issues in the multifaceted Russian·Saudi relations. They expressed mutual commitment to maintaining regular, trust·based political dialogue and to enhancing cooperation in the trade, economic, investment, and cultural·humanitarian spheres. The need to continue effective cooperation between Russia and Saudi Arabia in the OPEC+ format was confirmed," it said after the meeting on the sidelines of a ministerial session of the strategic dialogue between Russia and the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Persian Gulf (GCC).
