MOSCOW, September 18. /TASS/. The second World Public Assembly is beginning its work in Moscow, with delegates from more than 150 countries set to take part in the event on September 18-19.

"The second World Public Assembly, 'New World: Values That Unite,' will begin its work in Moscow on September 18," the organizers told TASS. According to them, the Russian capital will welcome "representatives of public diplomacy, science, culture, education, business, youth organizations, and the media from more than 150 countries."

The two-day discussion will focus on "values that can serve as a foundation for trust and cooperation in the emerging multipolar world while preserving the cultural and civilizational diversity of peoples."

The event will continue the international dialogue launched in 2025, when the first conference of this format was held. The organizers noted that World Public Summits have already been held in 2026 as part of preparations for the second World Public Assembly, "bringing together the intellectual, cultural, and public potential of various regions of the world to discuss a common values agenda."
