Newsom says he won’t run if Kamala does

Gavin Newsom caused quite a stir with his claim that he wouldn’t run for president in 2028 if Kamala Harris runs again.

“I don’t know if she runs, but we’ll see,” he said. But his declaration is already meeting skepticism.

“That man was certainly running for something when I was with him,” Playbook’s Will Steakin – who spoke with Newsom recently during his visit to South Carolina – said. “I still find it so hard to believe that he wouldn’t run even if Kamala Harris ran.”
