Metro AG analyzing implications of assets transfer to temporary management in Russia

BERLIN, September 28. /TASS/. Metro AG is considering consequences of the transfer of Russia-based assets of the German retailer to temporary management by Torg Rus company, the German holding said.

"Further effects of the decree on Metro AG are currently being analyzed," the retailer said.

Russian assets of the German retailer Metro were transferred to temporary management by Torg Rus company earlier, with the relevant decree signed by President Vladimir Putin.

100% participation interests in Metro Warehouse Noginsk held by Metro Cash & Carry Russia B. V. were placed under the temporary management. Furthermore, Torg Rus will also temporarily manage Retail Property 5 company owned by Metro Retail Real Estate GmbH.
