Viral “looksmaxxing” streamer Braden Peters — the self-proclaimed online beauty guru who built a massive following as “Clavicular” — is set to be arraigned in a Massachusetts court on bombshell criminal charges alleging he intoxicated and raped a 17-year-old girl at his family’s Cape Cod home.
Peters, 20, who boasts over 1 million followers for his extreme social media content promoting radical devotion to male aesthetics, has been charged with one count of rape, one count of drugging a person for sexual intercourse, and one count of procuring liquor for a person under 21 years old, according to court records.
Police say the alleged assault unfolded in May 2025 after the teenager visited Peters at his family’s home in the seaside town of Chatham. According to court filings and police accounts, Peters plied the girl with vodka shots until she was heavily intoxicated, livestreamed himself kissing her on camera, and then sexually assaulted her when she woke up the following morning.
The teenager, who told police she had been paid to appear in his “looksmaxxing” videos, previously detailed the allegations in a Florida civil lawsuit. In that filing, she also accused the streamer of injecting her with a fat-dissolving substance on camera without her consent.
The controversial influencer has vehemently denied the criminal allegations through legal representatives, insisting the sexual encounter was consensual and characterizing the accuser’s claims as a financial shakedown.
A representative for Peters claimed the criminal charges stemmed from the civil dispute, alleging the woman went to law enforcement only after Peters “refused to pay money.” Peters’ attorneys previously dismissed the civil filing as a “publicity grab,” filing a motion to dismiss that cited text messages claiming she was fully aware of the cosmetic injections.
The Massachusetts case represents the latest and most severe legal reckoning for the streamer, who rose to internet fame by rating men’s facial structures and advocating extreme methods to enhance physical attractiveness, including plastic surgery and performance-enhancing drugs. His stage name derives from the collarbone, a feature heavily prized within the online looksmaxxing subculture.
Earlier this year, Peters was charged with misdemeanor battery in Florida after police said he provoked a fight between two women to post online, though that charge was later dropped. In a separate Florida case, he was sentenced to probation after pleading no contest to discharging a firearm in public.
If convicted on the lead rape charge, Peters faces up to 20 years in state prison and mandatory registration as a sex offender.
