Pro-Palestinian activist Mahmoud Khalil is expected to announce a new federal lawsuit at a news conference in New York City. Khalil was among the most prominent of a number of foreign students detained last year by Trump administration immigration authorities after engaging in pro-Palestinian activism on their college campuses.
