Lavrov says West destroyed European security system in an attempt to contain Russia

UNITED NATIONS, September 26. /TASS/. The West destroyed the European security system as it aimed to contain Russia, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said, addressing the General Debate of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
"Pursuing the utopian goal of containing Russia, the West destroyed the European security system with its own hands and fostered the Russophobic regime in Kiev," he noted.
