Kremlin makes announcement on Russia’s Nestle assets, aircraft deal in briefing

MOSCOW, September 18. /TASS/. The transfer of the Russian assets of Auchan, Lemana Pro and Nestle to temporary administration, as well as the signing of an agreement on the supply of MC-21-310 aircraft, topped the agenda of Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov's Friday briefing.

TASS has compiled the Kremlin spokesman's key statements.

– For now, the decision concerns only the introduction of external management of the Russian assets of Auchan, Lemana Pro and Nestle: "At this point, we are talking specifically about the introduction of external management. No other decisions have been made so far."

– One of the factors considered in making the decision was that "the companies are from unfriendly countries."

– "These are unfriendly nations that are most actively involved in military actions against our country and states that have been engaged in strikes by the Kiev regime on our civilian and economic infrastructure."

– L.E.V. Management was selected as the temporary administrator of the assets because it "best met the necessary criteria."

– The signing of an agreement on the supply of MC-21-310 aircraft is a breakthrough and is very important for Russia: "An agreement on the terms of supply of MC-21-310 aircraft will be signed. This is a breakthrough signing, a very important one."
