Kremlin calls Russian language universal means of supporting community in Eurasia

MOSCOW, October 15. /TASS/. The Russian language is not a tool for combating Russophobia, but rather serves as a universal means of fostering community in Eurasia, Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"The Russian language is not a tool in the fight against Russophobia, in any way. The Russian language is a universal language that is capable of maintaining a commonality of interests, a common set of criteria, and a common set of principles across such a vast expanse as Eurasia. It still fulfills this function," he told journalists at "the Eurasia" award ceremony.
