Iran downs US drone MQ-1 over Strait of Hormuz — IRGC

TEHRAN, September 14. /TASS/. The air defense forces of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) shot down a US MQ-1 drone over the Strait of Hormuz, the IRGC said in a statement.
"An MQ-1 advanced drone was discovered and destroyed by the IRGC’s latest air defense system," the statement reads.
The incident took place in the skies over the Strait of Hormuz, the IRGC added.
