India invites officials, content creators from Russia to WAVES 2027 forum — secretary

MOSCOW, September 29. /TASS/. India invites Russian officials and content creators to take part in the activities of the World Audiovisual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) to be held in October 2027, Secretary of the Indian Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Chanchal Kumar told reporters.
"India hosted WAVES World Audiovisual Entertainment Summit last year, 2025," the secretary said. "We have come to Russia with a delegation to invite the government of Russia, filmmakers, distributors, broadcasters, young creators to come and participate in that," he added.
The WAVES 2027 will be held in Mumbai on October 14-17.
