MOSCOW, October 6. /TASS/. Two people were killed and nine others were injured as a result of an overnight Ukrainian drone attack in the Moscow Region, Governor Andrey Vorobyov reported on his Max channel.

One person was injured in a drone attack on a private house in Russia’s western Smolensk Region, Governor Vasily Anokhin said on his Max channel.

TASS has compiled the key details on the aftermath.

– From 8:00 p.m. Moscow time on October 5 to 9:00 a.m. Moscow time on October 6 (from 5:00 p.m. GMT on October 5 to 6:00 a.m. GMT on October 6), on-duty air defenses intercepted and destroyed 868 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones over Russian regions, the Defense Ministry reported.

– According to its statement, the drones were downed over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Oryol, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tver, Tula and Moscow Regions, Crimea, and the Sea of Azov.

– According to TASS calculations based on Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin’s reports on his Max channel, air defenses shot down 161 drones approaching the capital since the start of the day.

– Sobyanin noted that between 8:30 p.m. Moscow time on October 5 and 5:00 a.m. Moscow time (between 5:30 p.m. GMT on October 5 and 2:00 a.m. GMT on October 6), 650 drones flew toward the Moscow Region.

– Air defenses destroyed most of them at long range.

– A total of 105 drones were destroyed as they approached Moscow.

– The attempted enemy attack on Moscow was one of the largest in the past two years.

– Air defenses and electronic warfare systems shot down 185 drones over the Moscow Region, Governor Andrey Vorobyov stated.

– Air defenses downed 46 Ukrainian drones over Russia’s central Kaluga Region, Governor Vladislav Shapsha said on his Max channel.

– Air defenses destroyed 32 Ukrainian drones over the Tula Region overnight, Governor Dmitry Milyaev reported on his Max channel.

– Nineteen Ukrainian drones were shot down over the Smolensk Region overnight, Governor Vasily Anokhin stressed.

– Two people were killed in an overnight Ukrainian drone attack on the Moscow Region, Vorobyov reported.

– He specified that one of the victims was a 20-year-old man in the village of Radumlya in the Solnechnogorsk district near Moscow.

– In Domodedovo’s Barybin, rescue workers found the body of a 71-year-old man under the rubble of a destroyed private home.

– In addition, according to the governor, a total of nine people were injured as a result of the attack.

– In Pokrovskoye, a man with shrapnel wounds was taken to the hospital.

– In Istra, two residents of Yadromino and Gorok were hospitalized.

– Seven people, including a child, were injured in Domodedovo following a drone attack on the Moscow Region, district head Yevgeniya Khrustaleva reported.

– Khrustaleva also said that power outages occurred overnight due to damage to an overhead power line caused by drone debris.

– Power has already been restored to most of the houses near the villages of Lyakhovo, Dobrecheno, Bekhteyevo, and Krasny Put.

– A drone crashed into a parking lot in the village of Durykino in the Solnechnogorsk district near Moscow. Nineteen vehicles were damaged, but there were no injuries, district head Konstantin Mikhalkov noted.

– He added that firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze, preventing serious damage.

– Several houses were damaged in the Dmitrov district following a drone attack, district head Mikhail Shuvalov emphasized.

– One person was injured as a result of a drone attack on a private home in the Smolensk Region, Governor Vasily Anokhin reported.

– A passenger bus was damaged in Gorlovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic as a result of a drone strike, Mayor Ivan Prikhodko reported on his Max channel.

– According to the latest reports, seven civilians were injured.

– A Ukrainian drone struck the roof of a bus in Gorlovka, Gorsvet passenger transport company director Vladimir Mironov told TASS.

– He specified that one passenger had his leg severed.

– Two of the injured are in moderate condition and have been hospitalized, the DPR Health Ministry’s press service told TASS.

– It is noted that five of the injured received outpatient treatment.

– There are no children among them.

– Two civilians were injured in a massive drone attack in Belaya Berezka in the Bryansk Region, Governor Yegor Kovalchuk stated on his Max channel.

– The Russian Investigative Committee has opened a case over the terrorist attack (Article 205 of the Russian Criminal Code) in response to Ukrainian drone strikes on the Moscow Region and the Donetsk People’s Republic, Spokeswoman Svetlana Petrenko told TASS.

– A comprehensive set of measures is underway to gather evidence, identify the types and models of drones used, as well as the Ukrainian servicemen involved in the attack, she noted.
