If Iran cannot sell oil, whole region to be barred from selling — parliament speaker

TEHRAN, September 29. /TASS/. No one in the Middle East will sell oil if Iran is prevented from doing so, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, speaker of the Islamic Republic’s unicameral parliament, the Majlis, said.

"The United States, as well as other countries, should be aware that, as we have already said, in a region where we [Iran] do not sell oil, no one is going to sell oil," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Ghalibaf added that he could not ensure the security of any regional infrastructure unless Iran’s security was ensured.
