FBI refutes reports about Patel’s visit to Russia

WASHINGTON, October 14. /TASS/. The Federal Bureau of Investigation of the United States refuted reports about its Director Kash Patel’s visit to Russia in a statement, posted on the X social network.

"Left: MS Now reports two sources familiar say Kash Patel just landed in Russia. Right: Here’s where Kash Patel actually is… Liberty U, doing a law enforcement appreciation event," the statement says. "MS Now’s ‘sources’ are ‘familiar’ with nothing!"

The MS NOW television reported, citing its sources, that Patel had arrived in Russia for talks.

Earlier, Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters that he has nothing to comment on about media rumors on the subject, because "such visits are almost never announced."

So far, the FBI has left multiple TASS requests for a comment on the matter unanswered.
