KALININGRAD, October 9. /TASS/. A cargo ship has run aground during a storm while sailing along the Baltic coast in the Kaliningrad Region, the regional department of emergencies told TASS.
"A cargo ship ran aground while traveling along the coast of the Baltic Sea. The vessel sustained no damage, there is no pollution in the area, and no injuries have been reported," the agency's source said.
On October 9, wind speeds in the Kaliningrad Region reached up to 27 m/s. A storm warning has been issued in the regional capital, and a high-alert regime has been put in place.
