We are living in a long counter-revolution, and it’s bad. Our rulers aim to disorganise people: to demolish working-class institutions, experiences and hopes of a better world. What is to be done?For our winter issue, Tribune is exploring the places where people are getting organised — workplaces, streets, neighbourhoods and more — across Britain and the world.Are you part of an organising project, or interested in writing about one? If so, we want to hear from you.We’ll be exploring questions like:What new kinds of organising are developing to face the 2020s?How do they undermine capitalist class power and build counter-power?How can they challenge the imperial state and corporations, reclaiming our space and time?How does organising produce experiences and ideas of community that overcome racial and national divisions?Amid platform capitalist memes of tradwives and hypermasculinity, what is the role of feminist organising?With the planet in peril, can climate organising save life itself?What kind of organising can beat the platform plutocrats of Big Tech?Does organising have a problem of scale?
