Zelensky not denying becoming Trump’s ‘scapegoat’

BRUSSELS, October 16. /TASS/. At a press conference in Brussels, Zelensky declined to answer directly when asked if he believed he had become a "scapegoat" for US President Donald Trump.
According to a TASS correspondent, at the press conference following the European Council meeting, journalists were given a list of questions to pose to Zelensky.
One journalist asked the head of the Kiev regime whether he believed he had become a "scapegoat" for the US leader. In response, Zelensky smiled, paused briefly, and then said: "This is my answer." The press conference was streamed on the European Commission’s website.
Earlier, Trump stated that Zelensky does not actually want to settle the conflict and that Ukraine is being destroyed under his leadership. According to US media reports, Washington could restrict Starlink’s operations in Kiev and stop providing intelligence if Ukraine fails to comply with American demands.
