Satellite imagery uncovered by Declassified shows how oil has been leaking off Angola’s coast for 13 years, sickening locals and polluting their environment.
The oil spilled from a small patch of BP co-owned Angolan seabed, known as Kizomba A in Block 15. Cumulatively, our analysis shows the amount leaked would cover an area at least nine times the size of London.
