Houthis report missile strikes on coalition forces near Bab el-Mandeb Strait

DOHA, October 7. /TASS/. Yemen’s rebel Ansar Allah movement – the Houthis – launched ballistic missile strikes on Arab coalition positions south of the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree stated.
"Over the past 24 hours, our armed forces (the Houthis — TASS) have fired 11 ballistic missiles at 11 concentrations of Saudi forces in areas south of the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, Al-Suqia, Ras al-Arah and Al-Mudaraba," Saree said in a statement published on his Telegram channel.
He also stated that the attacks killed or wounded dozens of people, including commanders, and destroyed numerous pieces of military equipment. He added that another ballistic missile had struck the position of the 13th Al-Amaliqa Brigade, killing or wounding more than 30 enemy fighters.
Meanwhile, Arab coalition spokesman Turki al-Maliki said a ballistic missile launcher used in the recent attack on Riyadh had been destroyed in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa. "The operation to destroy [the launcher] was carried out in Sanaa as preparations were underway for an imminent attack on the kingdom," al-Maliki said on X.
