OPEC+ monitoring committee reviews July, August oil production data

MOSCOW, October 4. /TASS/. The OPEC+ Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee reviewed the alliance’s oil production data for July and August 2026 at an online meeting, noting overall compliance with the terms of the OPEC+ agreement, according to a final statement posted on OPEC’s website.

Thus, the OPEC+ monitoring committee did not recommend any changes to the alliance’s oil production policy.

The OPEC+ committee also reaffirmed that it would continue monitoring compliance with the production plan agreed at the ministerial meeting on December 5, 2024, as well as adherence to the additional voluntary cuts announced by several OPEC+ countries. In addition, the OPEC+ Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee retains the authority to convene an additional committee meeting and request an OPEC+ ministerial meeting.

The next meeting of the OPEC+ Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee is scheduled for November 29.
