LONDON, October 2. /TASS/. Western countries have drawn up contingency plans to relocate their embassies from Kiev if the security situation in the Ukrainian capital deteriorates further, The Guardian reported, citing two diplomatic sources.

According to them, the diplomatic missions could relocate to Lvov or eastern Poland. "The situation is obviously deteriorating fast," one unnamed diplomat said.

The newspaper also quoted Kiev Mayor Vitaly Klitschko as saying that the city "is in a very dramatic situation." "It’s no longer possible to pretend that we can live now as we do in peacetime," he said.
