Budget deficit to be about 2% in 2027 — Putin

MOSCOW, October 1. /TASS/. The budget deficit in Russia will be 2% next year, President Vladimir Putin said at the plenary session of the 23rd meeting of the Valdai Discussion Club.

"The budget deficit is about three per cent this year. I am confident it will be two next year," the head of state said.

The Russian state debt is just 17% of GDP, Putin added.
