The pleas on the two charges were revealed on Thursday after the High Court empanelled a nine-member jury for the high-profile trial, which is expected to last about eight weeks.
The seven men and two women will hear evidence and arguments on how the three former relatives of Choi allegedly conspired to murder the 28-year-old and dismember her body at a village house in Tai Po in February 2023.
Choi’s ex-husband, 31-year-old Alex Kwong Kong-chi, and his elder brother, 35-year-old Anthony Kwong Kong-kit, pleaded guilty to preventing the lawful burial of the influencer’s body between February 21 and 23 that year.
