Russian flour exports expected to remain at last year’s level in 2026

MOSCOW, September 23. /TASS/. Russian flour exports are expected to remain at last year’s level in 2026, totaling 528,000 metric tons worth $162 mln, according to a forecast included in a presentation by Igor Sviridenko, president of the Russian Union of Flour Mills and Cereal Plants.

In 2025, flour exports totaled 529,000 metric tons worth $163 mln.

According to the presentation, flour production is projected to reach 9.487 mln metric tons this year, including 8.75 mln metric tons of wheat flour and 500,000 metric tons of rye flour.

Meanwhile, this year’s wheat harvest is expected to reach 88.5 mln metric tons, while the rye harvest is projected at 900,000 metric tons.
