🎬 Naomi Watts enters her ‘villain era’ in ‘The Housewife’

Oscar nominee Naomi Watts attended the world premiere of The Housewife at the 51st Toronto International Film Festival, where she told reporters she was in her “villain era.”

 

Inspired by a true story, the film follows a New York Times journalist investigating reports that a Nazi officer may be living secretly in Queens in 1964. Watts plays Hermine, the officer’s wife, a role she said was both challenging and terrifying.
