Sounds of explosions heard in southern Iran, near Strait of Hormuz — Fars

TUNIS, October 17. /TASS/. Sounds of explosions were heard near the city of Sirik in the southern Iranian province of Hormozgan, the Fars news agency reported.
The report says locals informed of explosions in the Kuhestak coastal area and in several districts of Sirik.
Sirik is located on the Gulf of Oman coast, east of the Strait of Hormuz. The cause of the explosions, as well as potential damage or casualties, has not been reported at this point.
