Moscow format ready to look for solutions to Afghanistan-Pakistan conflict

MOSCOW, October 5. /TASS/. Participants in the Moscow format on Afghanistan have called on Kabul and Islamabad to refrain from military actions and expressed readiness to make efforts to find a solution to the conflict, Russian presidential envoy for Afghanistan Zamir Kabulov said.

"The Moscow format wasn't established to settle conflicts between individual countries of this group. All parties without exception called on both sides to refrain from military action against one another, which primarily harms the civilian population, and expressed their readiness to assist and facilitate the search for political and diplomatic solutions," he said after the format’s meeting.
