What it feels like when a jet drops 16,000 feet in 30 seconds
Por Reuters — Reuters
The flydubai flight that plunged 16,000 feet in about 30 seconds before being levelled out and landing safely would have felt like a “vertical roller coaster,” according to an aviation instructor who recreated the descent in a flight simulator. The key difference, he said, is that passengers on a roller coaster expect the drop.
