UKMTO reports tanker incident near Yemen’s coast

LONDON, October 5. /TASS/. The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) informed about a possible tanker shelling near the Yemeni coast.
The UKMTO received a report of the incident that occurred sixty nautical miles to the south of Al Mukha in Yemen. "The Company Security Officer reported a tanker sighting multiple explosions in close proximity to the vessel. The crew are reported as safe and no environmental impact has been reported," it said.
The vessel’s name and its port of registry were not disclosed.
