Russian stock indices rising on Wednesday — market data

MOSCOW, September 30. /TASS/. Russian stock indices ended the trading session on Wednesday with a rising trend, according to market data.
The ruble-denominated MOEX Russia Index gained 0.23% to 2,267.9 points. The dollar-denominated RTS Index added 1.27% to 855.01 points. The yuan lost 9.6 kopecks to 12.372 rubles.
"The market situation is more to be 'bearish.' Oil prices sharply rolled back from local highs, while the ruble demonstrated confident appreciation. Concerning the positive points, we would like to highlight rising prices of precious metals, platinum and palladium," Andrey Smirnov from BCS Investment World commented.
